Privacy

In short: Fachwerk collects nothing. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics.

What stays on the device

Saved game, player names, highscores, language, world, sound and the purchase state live in the app’s storage on your device. They never leave it, and removing the app removes them.

Multi-device play

The devices talk to each other directly (WebRTC). To find each other they exchange short connection offers through a signaling service; when no direct route works (typical on mobile networks) the game traffic runs through a relay server operated by FreshX. Both see IP addresses in passing and store none of it. Game content is not readable for the signaling service; the room code encrypts it.

Purchases

The purchase runs entirely through Apple or Google. We only learn from the operating system whether it happened — no name, no payment data.

Shared links

Sharing a result or a room sends a link carrying the challenge id or the room code. What is in the link is your decision when you share it.

This website

The server keeps technical access logs (IP address, time, address) and deletes them after a short time. There are no cookies and no tracking pixels.
